Tam Austria was born , Rizal 1943. UST BFA, 1954. Recd early training under Carlos (Botong) Francisco, master painter of Angono. Produces regional folk genre and interprets Phil myths with a linear and meticulously elegant style in monochromatic, sepia brown tones. Mobil Art Foundation awardee, 1982. One of CCP’s Thirteen Artists of 1970.
