BAQUIRAN, Fatima

Fatima Antonio Baquiran was born in 1972 to artists Lito Antonio and Norma Belleza. She studied Interior Design in UST in 1992. Her first paintings were miniatures. She specializes in colorful floral still lifes done in heavy impasto, and also paints expressionist landscapes in a charming, filigree style. She mounted her first solo exhibit in 1999 at the Acropolis Gallery.
